Kimberbell Club

It’s starting! Our Kimberbell club’s first Class will be on 1/22/20. Each class is $25 and runs twice a month. First On a week day and next the following Saturday. Each class that month are the same, we are just offering it twice for customers. Once again this class is for any embroidery machines only, any make of machines are welcome as long as it is an embroidery machine. We will have only one embroidery machine for renting, if you do not own one and are interested in this class. Your class fee must be paid for and you need to be signed up the week before class starts.

Bernina Academy Event!!

ALL SEWIST!!

Have you wanted to upgrade your machine or purchase your first Bernina machine? This event is for you and is taught by a Bernina instructor.

Whether you are a seasoned pro, or you’re never touched a sewing machine, you can attend this course. Everyone will walk away with tips and techniques to improve their sewing skills or inspire to learn and sew more!

Come join us for this fun two day event. You will learn “sew” much and take home a fun book of sewing techniques that you will make on one of the Bernina machines!

Open Sew

NEW!! We started a new class that is FREE. Every month we will run an open sew class. This class is for anyone to come join and sew/embroidery, ALL BRANDS welcome to join. This class will run once a month from 10am-3pm. Must sign up ahead of time as space is limited. Check the website for dates, as each month is a different date

Christmas Sew Club

Once a month we are holding a Christmas sew day! This class is FREE; you must be sewing a Christmas project or gift for someone. This class is for everyone to sew and visit, ALL BRANDS welcome to join and make new sewing buddies. Check website for dates, as each month will be a different date.

In-store machine SPECIALS

Casey has lost it again!! She has dropped down all of our Bernina machines to crazy prices! All her in-store specials do not go with Bernina’s special offerings. If you are interested in any of Bernina’s offerings, those will need to be special ordered.

Store hours and classes

We have extended our store hours on Thursdays. We are staying open until 6pm.

As the weather this time of year can get cold and icy, we do not want our employees or customers driving on bad road conditions. If the weather turns bad during the evening, the store will close and classes will be canceled. If you are signed up for class and we cancel it, you receive a phone call and a makeup day to do or finish your class.

If the MLSD cancel school or cancels midday due to weather, then ALL of our scheduled class will be canceled as well.

Weekly Specials

It’s BACK!!! We are doing our weekly specials, but this time around is extra fun and special. We will put out two things for that week that is on special. These are in-store only! Stop by to check out what will be put out.

Quilting

Do you have a Christmas quilt that still needs to be quilted? If it is an all over design using one of our pantographs, we can still get it done in time! Make sure to drop it off by December 11th and we can have it done by December 23rd. No custom quilting will be done in time for Christmas.

Open SEW day!!

Janurary 1st, 9am-5pm. It’s our first ever “Open Sew Day”! Bring your machine, a project (UFO) and come sew! Potluck style, when you sign up for class there will be a list of items if you wish to bring a dish. Open sew day is FREE!!!!

Parks and Rec Classes

Did you know we advertise some of our classes through the Moses Lake Parks and Rec? This is another fun way to reach out to the community to find out about our fun classes! WE are going to offer our sewing levels and quilting levels as always, plus a few more fun seasonal ones for adults and kids! Keep an out for their fall catalog coming out soon and for our September newsletter with them listed

Kimberbell club

Our Kimberbell club is sneaking up on us. We have dates out for the classes. You may pay in full for the whole year, or by month. Kimberbell club is for embroidery machines only.

Have you always wanted to do embroidery, but do not own a embroidery machine? Lucky for you we are renting out our Bernina 700 machine to the first person who signs up needing one. Our rental fee is $25 per class. If you end up LOVING the Bernina and wish to purchase a Bernina embroidery machine we will deduct your rental fee/fees from to purchase and offer a discount on a machine.

It’s COMING (BIG SALE DAY)!!!!

Did you know Casey has been in Business for nearly TWO DECADES!? Yep, Country Fabrics has been around that long. With that being said, our Small Business SALE is going to be even more special and fun! What does that mean? Well you will just need to come in and see on November 30th.

Store demos – We are going to have the Bernina E-16 up and running, Bernina Q20 and Q24 along with the machines running. What type of demos are we showing? Casey will demo the Q-matic, embroidery and some of Bernina’s fun presser feet.

Kimberbell

Back in October Casey and Ila traveled to Utah for Kimberbell training, so our store can be certified with their product. Since then Casey has some fun ideas for new classes and events for our store.

Starting in January 2020 we are doing a Kimberbell club. What is a Kimberbell club? You will construct a fun embroidery project each month, along with one bonus project. Total you will make 13 projects on your embroidery machine. If you are interested in signing up for this monthly class please come down and pre-pay for your classes.

Bernina Academy Event

HEADS UP!!! For the first time ever, we are hosting our very own Bernina Academy coming March 2020. We have Sandra Swick coming to town to put this fun event on! Sandra is part of the Bernina family and an educator for Bernina.

Have you been looking at a new machine, or wanting to upgrade to something new and bigger? This event is for you! Come try out the Bernina’s and make a fun project to take and keep! Not only is this a fun event, but we will have some awesome specials for Bernina machine’s happening.
