25% OFF Embroidery Foot with Clear Sole #39/39C

Available in two versions, clear embroidery foot #39/39C works with Bernina models that have a maximum stitch width of 5.5mm and those with a maximum stitch width of 9mm.

Presser foot #39/39C is designed for satin stitching of all types. It has a wedge-shaped thread indentation in the sole, allowing satin stitches to pass under the foot evenly without being pressed flat or building up and inhibiting the feed. Because the indentation in the sole is wider at the back of the foot, it aids in turning corners and stitching smooth curves; this is particularly helpful when sewing around applique shapes.

Horizontal red marks on each side of the foot indicate the location of the needle and the vertical red mark on the front of the foot indicates the center of the foot also the needle center position. The small hole in the front of the foot allows a narrow cord to be guided perfectly down the center of the stitching for raised edges and corded applique.

Kimberbell Embroidery Club

Have you checked out our February project for Kimberbell? Look how adorable this lion is!

It’s hard to tell, but the lion’s mane is a fringe technique that is something new for our Kimberbell class. Think of all the fun projects you can make using this design. In the class you will construct a baby bib.

If you are interested in taking February’s class, come down to the store to sign up. Payment is required in advance. The fee is $25 for the class.

What does the fee cover? Your monthly fee covers your kit. Your kit will include your fabrics and stabilizers to complete the project. Of course you will receive to digital file and PDF directions for that project. We now email you your digital embroidery file and directions. We do display the direction on our projector for you to view during class.

Store Classes

Did you know we advertise some of classes in the Moses Lake Parks and Recreations catalog? Yep, we do! You may even pay for those classes that are in their book on their website and come to class in our store!

We always put in our levels of sewing and quilting in their book every season. Not only do offer those, but we do put out fun ones to go with the season or Holidays happening those months. Right now we are working on our spring classes for them to publish soon. Any one of our classes will tell you the age restrictions, fee, times, dates and project contents.  Just like any other classes we offer, we offer machine rentals as well. These machine rentals are a first come first serve basis. We strongly suggest you calling us before signing up to make sure we have one available for during your time frame you are wanting. 

Besides us publishing classes in the Parks and Recreation book, we do offer classes outside of that, which is always held in our store. You may find a list of these classes on our website, Facebook, Facebook events, Newsletter or even in our store on our chalk board calendar by the front door.

All our classes must be paid in advance to the class date and in full before class starts. Most of our classes are a kit class, meaning a kit will be made when payment is received for your class, or supplies for you that may needed for that class is ordered for you.

Mastery Class

You may notice on Fridays the time frame is different than the past. We now have split our Fridays into two sessions due to a high demand of Friday classes. When signing up for your Friday class, please let us know which session you would like.

Bernina Tool Box Class

NEW CLASS!!

We now offer classes on the Bernina tool box software. Did you purchase the tool box, or receive it with your machine purchase and not sure how to use it? This class is for you!

You will start at the basic’s during this class on the 13^th.

Bernina V8 Software Class

Robert is teaching you how to edit using the knife during this class. Please make sure your laptop or tablet is updated before coming to class. Remember to bring a notebook and pencil for taking notes.

Sewing & Quilting Levels

Reminder that our beginning levels of sewing and quilting are always on going. Every Thursday between 1pm-6pm, for any 2hr time slot that fits your schedule. To sign up for these levels you need to pay through Moses lake Parks and Rec. You pay in the office or online. If you do sign up for these classes, please give us a call after you have made your payment.

We want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported us during our small business Saturday sale! This year has been completely different for us as a small business and all the restriction/regulations put in place.

Casey and I were throwing the idea of not hosting our annual sale, but knew how much you guys enjoyed it “Sew” much in the past years. With extra cleaning in place, sanitizer placed everywhere and social distancing, we decided let’s go with it! We are “Sew” glad we did too! All our customers were very understanding and had the patience to wait while Heather cleaned the counter and keypad in between customers. Casey sanitized high traffic areas more often than probably needed, but our customers and employee’s safety is number! We even had Phebe in for the day and she helped with everything as well and put smiles on our customers’ faces (we could tell under the face mask!).

Course Objective: The two-day course exposes students to a wide variety of techniques and will teach them sewing, quilting, and embroidery techniques. They will build a solid sewing foundation that will help them through a lifetime of sewing. At the end of the Academy, participants will have made a Technique Book to use as a reference guide every time they walk into their sewing studio and turn on their BERNINA to sew their next project.
Course Requirements: None. This is the best part, the course is open to everyone. Whether you are a seasoned pro, or you’ve never touched a sewing machine, you can attend this course. Everyone will walk away with tips and
with tips and techniques to improve their sewing skills or inspire them to learn and sew more!

Sandra is a certified technician and international teacher with more than 20 years’ experience selling, sewing and teaching professionally with Bernina machines

Whether you are a seasoned pro, or you have never touched a sewing machine, you can attend this course. Everyone will walk away with tips and techniques to improve their sewing skills or inspire to learn and sew more!

Come join us for this fun two day event. You will learn “sew” much and take home a fun book of sewing techniques that you will make on one of the Bernina machines!

Kimberbell Club – February

Our first month was a hit! Thank you everyone who came and took the class.

The project above is for February and is offered on the 19^th and again on the 22^nd , 9am-12pm. The fee for this is class $25.00, which includes the kit, embroidery file and directions.  This project fits a mini composition book (*Note, mini composition book is not included in the kit). Remember to sign up 48 hrs. advance and to bring in your USB for us to put your design onto it.

*This is a embroidery only class, if you are interested in taking this class but do not own a embroidery machine, you may rent ours. This is a first come basis. You will embroider on the Bernina 700.
