Sewing Classes
Beginning levels of sewing classes are quickly filling up. If you are interested in our beginning levels of sewing you need to check with Parks and Rec to reserve your spot. There are three levels. You Must take level one first. Level one you construct an apron, Level two you construct a bathrobe and Level three you construct a pair of P.J.’s.
Beginning quilt class- We have recently added two levels of quilting class. To sign up for this class you will need to go down to Parks and Rec.

Bernina class
Do you own a Bernina and need a refresher? Sign up for our mastery class. They are FREE to owners of Bernina’s with machines that are one year old or newer. We do regular use and go over the embroidery use as well. Classes are the second and third Fridays and Saturdays of every month. Please call to reserve your spot in the class.

Oiling the 7 Series
Question: How often does the 7 Series need to be oiled?
Answer: We recommend the cleaning and lubrication process be performed at the beginning of each sewing day. Fill the red oiling port beneath the stitch plate, then fill both oil depots on the hook so that the felts are damp but not running over. Use Velocite No. 6, which comes in the oiling pen with the machine. Specific steps are listed under Cleaning in the machine’s Instruction Manual.
